In April 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Brewing Tea At The Hermitage by Hu Ruosi. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,335.60), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hu Ruosi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mount Hua Scenery in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,700,000.00 (€ 156,994.34).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Brewing Tea At The Hermitage von Hu Ruosi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.335,60) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Ruosi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mount Hua Scenery im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.700.000,00 (€ 156.994,34).
