The work The Secret Realm of Jiuzhai Valley by Huang Yuxing was sold in the Post-Millennium Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in May this year. It achieved a price of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 483,279.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Yuxing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seven Treasure Pines in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 64,830,000.00 (€ 7,343,352.18).

Die Arbeit The Secret Realm of Jiuzhai Valley von Huang Yuxing wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-Millennium Evening Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 483.279,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Yuxing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seven Treasure Pines im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 64.830.000,00 (€ 7.343.352,18).
