In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work THE SPRINGS AT FONTAINE DE VAUCLUSE by Hubert Robert for EUR 351,300.00. This price was achieved in the auction Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900 at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 400,000.00 – 600,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hubert Robert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Colonnade Et Jardins du Palais Médici: Gentlemen Sketching In An Italianate Garden; And Restes du Palais du Pape Jules: An Architectural Capriccio With Haymakers in July 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,368,000.00 (€ 4,930,357.25).

Im Dezember 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit THE SPRINGS AT FONTAINE DE VAUCLUSE von Hubert Robert für EUR 351.300,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900 bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hubert Robert erzielen.
