Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Hussein Bicar was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in March 2017. It achieved a price of USD 47,500.00 (€ 44,400.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Admittedly, works by Hussein Bicar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harvest I in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 247,500.00 (€ 225,779.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hussein Bicar kam im März 2017 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 44.400,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hussein Bicar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Harvest I im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 247.500,00 (€ 225.779,97).
