Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Chanteuse de Blues (The blues singer) by Iba N'Diaye was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May 2021. The price achieved of USD 27,812.50 (€ 22,808.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Iba N'Diaye - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Signare, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 40,320.00 (€ 47,768.31).
