Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,370.89) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Russian Icarus in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,836.74).
