Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ismael Al Sheikhly achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in November 2021. In the Middle Eastern 20th and 21st Century Art auction, the work Three Girls sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,696.38) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ismael Al Sheikhly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 62,716.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ismael Al Sheikhly erzielte im November 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Middle Eastern 20th and 21st Century Art wurde die Arbeit Three Girls für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.696,38) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ismael Al Sheikhly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 62.716,66).
