Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Pastore al lavoro by Italo Mus was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 4,500.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 4,000.00. Other works by Italo Mus have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2015 by the work Il cesto di salice at EUR 6,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Pastore al lavoro von Italo Mus im Mai 2018 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.500,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 4.000,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Italo Mus wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2015 die Arbeit Il cesto di salice mit EUR 6.000,00.
