However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by J.W.A. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four views of Barbados: A village street scene; View from Carlisle Bay - Barbados. - Morning.; Oxen drawing a sugar cane cart; Fishing boats and figures bathing in a cove, which sold at auction in April 2011 for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,660.06).
