Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work A Herder With His Flock In A Landscape by Jacob Salomonsz. van Ruysdael for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,141.13). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Online at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Salomonsz. van Ruysdael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Landscape With Cavaliers In The Foreground, A Church Beyond in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 66,500.00 (€ 90,362.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Herder With His Flock In A Landscape von Jacob Salomonsz. van Ruysdael für USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.141,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters Online bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Salomonsz. van Ruysdael erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Landscape With Cavaliers In The Foreground, A Church Beyond im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 66.500,00 (€ 90.362,22).
