The work An extensive landscape travellers on a path, a walled town beyond by Jacob van der Croos was sold in the OLD MASTER PICTURES auction at Christies in London in December 2001. The price achieved of GBP 3,525.00 (€ 5,759.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob van der Croos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A view of Rijswijk castle in November 2002 with an auction result of EUR 35,850.00.

Die Arbeit An extensive landscape travellers on a path, a walled town beyond von Jacob van der Croos wurde im Dezember 2001 in der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.525,00 (€ 5.759,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob van der Croos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A view of Rijswijk castle im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.850,00.
