Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,966.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jacob van der Kerckhoven have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Coqs, Poules, Canard Et Dindon Dans Une Basse-Cour in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 69,591.00.

Die Arbeit Still Life With Pheasants, A Hare And Other Game von Jacob van der Kerckhoven kam im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.966,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
