In the Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale auction, the work The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Music-Making Angels And Virtues changed hands for GBP 112,500.00 (€ 152,769.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacopo di Cione have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints Anthony Abbot, Mary Magdalene, Catherine Of Alexandria, And A Bishop Saint, With Eight Angels in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 965,000.00 (€ 854,738.71).
