This artwork by Jacopo Robusti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2007. In the Old Master Drawings auction, the work Study Of The Head Of Giuliano De' Medici, After Michelangelo sold for GBP 48,000.00 (€ 71,291.08) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo Robusti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A An Elderly Bearded Man, Head And Shoulders in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,609,250.00 (€ 2,044,570.24).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacopo Robusti erzielte im Juli 2007 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Drawings wurde die Arbeit Study Of The Head Of Giuliano De' Medici, After Michelangelo für GBP 48.000,00 (€ 71.291,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacopo Robusti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A An Elderly Bearded Man, Head And Shoulders im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.609.250,00 (€ 2.044.570,24).
