This artwork by Jacopo Vignali achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2006. In the Old Master Pictures auction, the work Portrait of a young man, bust-length, in a black coat and white collar sold for GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,247.15) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacopo Vignali have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work David with the Head of Goliath in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 162,750.00 (€ 181,806.26).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacopo Vignali erzielte im April 2006 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Pictures wurde die Arbeit Portrait of a young man, bust-length, in a black coat and white collar für GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.247,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacopo Vignali auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit David with the Head of Goliath im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 162.750,00 (€ 181.806,26).
