The price achieved of AUD 9,225.00 (€ 8,596.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Quiet Drink, 1940s is the most expensive artwork by Jacqueline Hick that we have observed at auctions so far.
