The work Femme Et Enfant by Jacques Azema was sold in the A Moroccan Spring auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at MAD 10,496.00 (€ 1,046.57), 75% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Azema achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hammam, 1960 in December 2021 with an auction result of MAD 130,000.00 (€ 12,290.16).

Die Arbeit Femme Et Enfant von Jacques Azema wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion A Moroccan Spring bei Artcurial in Marrakesch versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von MAD 10.496,00 (€ 1.046,57) und damit 75% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Azema erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hammam, 1960 im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von MAD 130.000,00 (€ 12.290,16).
