Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scène de port by Jacques Bouyssou was sold in the British and Continental Pictures auction at Christies in London in March 2002. It changed hands for a price of GBP 293.75 (€ 480.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Bouyssou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Frette in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,577.51).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 293,75 (€ 480,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Bouyssou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Frette im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.577,51).
