Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hastings by James Abbott McNeill Whistler was sold in the American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,702.64). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Abbott McNeill Whistler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Whistler Smoking in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,200,000.00 (€ 1,063,170.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hastings von James Abbott McNeill Whistler wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.702,64) einen neuen Besitzer.
