Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Moonlight and snow by James Bolivar Manson for GBP 750.00 (€ 844.63). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Bolivar Manson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Light Lunch in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,212.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Moonlight and snow von James Bolivar Manson für GBP 750,00 (€ 844,63) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Bolivar Manson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Light Lunch im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.212,82).
