It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,101.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by James Butler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Bather in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,751.62).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.101,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Butler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Bather im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 8.751,62).
