In the The Sunday Sale - Property from the Collection of the Late J.S.Goddard, removed from Camp Hill, Baldwin Estate, Staffordshire auction, the work Loch Anure, County Donegal sold for GBP 18,500.00 (€ 24,800.05) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by James Humbert Craig have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Soft Day, Connemara in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 69,600.00 (€ 102,421.11).
