Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Makhan Chor) by Jamini Roy was auctioned at Bonhams in London in January 2024. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,024.00 (€ 1,713.83). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jamini Roy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Dralha) in September last year with an auction result of USD 579,600.00 (€ 592,456.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Makhan Chor) von Jamini Roy kam im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.024,00 (€ 1.713,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jamini Roy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Dralha) im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 579.600,00 (€ 592.456,30).
