In September 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction European Noble and Private Collections, which included the work Dutch infantry in the snow by Jan Hoynck van Papendrecht. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,500.00 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Hoynck van Papendrecht achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picnic After The Parade, Bois De Boulogne in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 39,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im September 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion European Noble and Private Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch infantry in the snow von Jan Hoynck van Papendrecht zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.500,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Hoynck van Papendrecht erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Picnic After The Parade, Bois De Boulogne im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.600,00.
