This artwork by Jan Josef Horemans the Elder achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2017. In the Old Masters auction, the work An interior with a woman at her spinning wheel, a child with a rattle, and other figures sold for USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,877.75) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Josef Horemans the Elder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Four Seasons, which sold at auction in January 2007 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 46,160.95).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Josef Horemans the Elder erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters wurde die Arbeit An interior with a woman at her spinning wheel, a child with a rattle, and other figures für USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.877,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00.
