Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Polish parawan by Jan Tarasin. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 18,671.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Tarasin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work ”PRZEDMIOTY VII”, which sold at auction in November 2021 for SEK 420,000.00 (€ 40,969.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Polish parawan von Jan Tarasin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 18.671,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Tarasin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ”PRZEDMIOTY VII” beobachtet, die im November 2021 für SEK 420.000,00 (€ 40.969,26) versteigert wurde.
