Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jean-Baptiste Huynh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in October 2009. In the Florence and Daniel Guerlain Photographies Collection auction, the work Mali Portrait Xxii, 2003 sold for EUR 4,845.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Huynh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mali - Portrait Xxiv in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 38,900.00 (€ 50,879.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean-Baptiste Huynh erzielte im Oktober 2009 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Florence and Daniel Guerlain Photographies Collection wurde die Arbeit Mali Portrait Xxii, 2003 für EUR 4.845,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Huynh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mali - Portrait Xxiv im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.900,00 (€ 50.879,67).
