Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Cuisinier, 1883 by Jean Carriès was sold in the XIXth Century Sculptures auction at Artcurial in Paris in November 2017. The price achieved of EUR 12,350.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Carriès have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Grenouillard in March 2019 with an auction result of EUR 123,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Cuisinier, 1883 von Jean Carriès wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion XIXth Century Sculptures bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.350,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Carriès auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Grenouillard im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 123.500,00.
