Upper estimate price exceeded by 63 %.
In July 2021 Artcurial in Monte-Carlo held the auction Monaco Sculptures, which included the work Nebuleuse Bleue - 1991 by Jean-Claude Farhi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 13,000.00 63% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Claude Farhi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unique Dining Table, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,378.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2021 führte Artcurial in Monte-Carlo die Auktion Monaco Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nebuleuse Bleue - 1991 von Jean-Claude Farhi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 13.000,00 und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Claude Farhi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unique Dining Table beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.378,68) versteigert wurde.
