Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait d'Yvon Belaval by Jean Cocteau was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,187.50. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Cocteau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mediterranee - 1952 in December 2014 with an auction result of EUR 132,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait d'Yvon Belaval von Jean Cocteau kam im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.187,50 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Cocteau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mediterranee - 1952 im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 132.000,00.
