Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marabout, Vers 1935 by Jean Dunand was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2006. The price achieved of EUR 62,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Dunand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Marabou Storks' Four Panel Screen in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 301,250.00 (€ 375,344.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Marabout, Vers 1935 von Jean Dunand kam im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 62.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Dunand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Marabou Storks' Four Panel Screen im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 301.250,00 (€ 375.344,25).
