Auction result well in line with expectations

In May 2014 Christies in Paris held the auction Arts décoratifs du XXème siècle, which included the work Après Le Bain, 1924 by Jean Dupas. The price achieved of EUR 49,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Dupas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'L'Enlèvement D'Europe', 1928, Paire De Tableaux Dans Leurs Cadres D'Origine Dessinés Par L'Artiste in May 2014 with an auction result of EUR 217,500.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Arts décoratifs du XXème siècle durch, in der auch die Arbeit Après Le Bain, 1924 von Jean Dupas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 49.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Dupas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'L'Enlèvement D'Europe', 1928, Paire De Tableaux Dans Leurs Cadres D'Origine Dessinés Par L'Artiste im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 217.500,00.
