In February 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work A Young Lady Bathing by Jean-Frédéric Schall. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,866.79), 31% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean-Frédéric Schall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Hives Of Cupids in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,702.47).

Im Februar 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Young Lady Bathing von Jean-Frédéric Schall zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.866,79) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Frédéric Schall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Hives Of Cupids im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.702,47).
