A top price for Jean Graton - as previously expected
The work Michel Vaillant - Tome 5 by Jean Graton was sold in the Comic Strips auction at Artcurial in Paris in February this year. The price achieved of EUR 36,736.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Michel Vaillant - Tome 5 is the most expensive artwork by Jean Graton that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Michel Vaillant - Tome 5 von Jean Graton wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Comic Strips bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 36.736,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Michel Vaillant - Tome 5 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jean Graton, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
