The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,324.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Raymond Hippolyte Lazerges - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A sleeping beauty, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 24,000.00 (€ 28,454.70).
