This artwork by Jef Aérosol achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in February 2020. In the Urban & Pop Contemporary auction, the work Sittin' Kid - 2007 sold for EUR 4,160.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jef Aérosol have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Michel-Ange - Leonard - 2014 in February 2015 with an auction result of EUR 20,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jef Aérosol erzielte im Februar 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Sittin' Kid - 2007 für EUR 4.160,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jef Aérosol auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Michel-Ange - Leonard - 2014 im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.800,00.
