Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2007 Christies in London held the auction Important Old Master Paintings From The Collection of Jacques Goudstikker, which included the work A roemer on a silver-gilt bekerschroef, sweetmeats in a silver tazza, langoustines on a plate, walnuts and an apple on a table top by Jeremias van Winghe. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 288,000.00 (€ 427,746.48), 15% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jeremias van Winghe have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 397,250.00 (€ 562,218.20) in December 2004 for the work A kitchen interior with a maid preparing meat and gentlemen drinking at a table beyond.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 288.000,00 (€ 427.746,48) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
