A top price for Jiang Jie - as previously expected
The work Flowers by Jiang Jie was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,434.52), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Flowers is the most expensive artwork by Jiang Jie that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Flowers von Jiang Jie kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.434,52) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Flowers das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jiang Jie, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
