Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tiger and the Arhat by Jin Nong was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in November 2021. The price achieved of HKD 216,000.00 (€ 24,017.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Nong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Qi Script in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 7,520,000.00 (€ 878,536.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tiger and the Arhat von Jin Nong wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 216.000,00 (€ 24.017,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Nong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Qi Script im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.520.000,00 (€ 878.536,50).
