Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bootyboop; & Poopy Pants by Joan Cornellà was auctioned at POLY in Poly Auction App in January last year. The price achieved of HKD 4,200.00 (€ 480.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Cornellà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work CCTV (Orange) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 444,000.00 (€ 453,410.87).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 4.200,00 (€ 480,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Cornellà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit CCTV (Orange) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 444.000,00 (€ 453.410,87).
