Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joe Bradley could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the PROUVÉ x BASQUIAT: Art and Design from the Collection of Peter M. Brant and Stephanie Seymour auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 119,700.00 (€ 105,760.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Bradley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tres Hombres in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,913,274.00).
