Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Höstlandskap med änder i vattendrag by Johan Krouthén was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in June 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 44,000.00 (€ 4,614.43). Admittedly, works by Johan Krouthén have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Girl with umbrella in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 400,000.00 (€ 39,017.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Höstlandskap med änder i vattendrag von Johan Krouthén im Juni 2010 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 44.000,00 (€ 4.614,43) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johan Krouthén auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Girl with umbrella im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 400.000,00 (€ 39.017,49).
