Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Johann Wilhelm Weinmann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2005. In the Travel and Natural History auction, the work A collection of fruit studies from, Phytanthoza iconographia sold for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,931.05) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johann Wilhelm Weinmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phytanthoza iconographia, Regensberg, 1735-1745 in May last year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,879.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johann Wilhelm Weinmann erzielte im September 2005 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Travel and Natural History wurde die Arbeit A collection of fruit studies from, Phytanthoza iconographia für GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.931,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johann Wilhelm Weinmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phytanthoza iconographia, Regensberg, 1735-1745 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.879,45).
