This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 600.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Joan Blaeu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work From: Atlas Maior (9). in December 2013 with an auction result of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 7,904.78).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 600,00 um ein Vielfaches.
