Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings, which included the work A Watermill With Peasants Taking Refreshments by Johannes Lingelbach. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,689.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johannes Lingelbach have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peasants Dancing The Tarantella Outside An Inn In A Hilly Italianate Landscape in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 116,470.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Watermill With Peasants Taking Refreshments von Johannes Lingelbach zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.689,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Lingelbach auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Peasants Dancing The Tarantella Outside An Inn In A Hilly Italianate Landscape im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 97.250,00 (€ 116.470,61).
