In March 2003 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work The London-Brighton Royal Mail Coach by John Charles Maggs. Other works by John Charles Maggs have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,088.88) in June 2002 for the work A Bristol to London mail coach with a hunt beyond.
