Admittedly, works by John Cunningham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Table Top in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 16,450.00 (€ 26,177.13).

Die Arbeit Balmaha, Loch Lomond von John Cunningham kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.391,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Cunningham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Table Top im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.450,00 (€ 26.177,13).
