The work Blue Nude by John Duncan Fergusson was sold in the Modern | British Art auction at Christies in London in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,696.98), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Duncan Fergusson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Submarines and Camouflaged Battleship in March this year with an auction result of GBP 1,074,000.00 (€ 1,221,882.45).

Die Arbeit Blue Nude von John Duncan Fergusson wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Modern | British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.696,98) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Duncan Fergusson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Submarines and Camouflaged Battleship im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.074.000,00 (€ 1.221.882,45).
