Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by John Harwood could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work The Snow Thames In Two Positions Off Harwich changed hands for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,545.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by John Harwood have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in July 2015 by the work The Snow Thames In Two Positions Off Harwich at GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,860.40).
