Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,917.44). Admittedly, works by John McAllister have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Days Gently Embered in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,507.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rustling Clatter-Calm von John McAllister kam im November 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.917,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John McAllister auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Days Gently Embered im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.507,45).
